Our guests (part I)...

After a bit of rearranging, Bob and I took a minute to pose with our small mountain of baby gifts before the opening began:

My mom came down from NJ to join us for the weekend, and it was a huge help and lots of fun to share the experience with her. Friday she ran some errands with me (due to my complications, I try to have company when I leave the house), then helped Bob finish painting the nursery on Saturday morning before the shower, and almost all of the photos you'll see from the shower were taken by her. THANKS for all you did to help us out, Mom!!

Laura helped take photos, organize the opened gifts and assisted Chris in keeping track of who gave what:
